While at the gym this morning, I searched for a new arm and chest workout and stumbled upon this great kettlebell workout from Golden Workout Routines!
Had to share!
I wanted a cracker. I found a quick recipe. I made the crackers! Here’s an alternative to wheat thins made with almond flour. This is the basic recipe but you can throw in some rosemary and thyme and create a different treat. Or a bit of honey and cinnamon for a sweet treat. The options are endless!
Makes 2 Dozen
3/4 c. (3 oz.) Almond Flour
1 Egg White
1/8 tsp. Garlic Powder
Marcus did such an amazing job celebrating me for my birthday. He made me very thankful to have such a sweet and thoughtful partner. On the 29th, my actual birthday, we decided to have a few friends over to hang out in the backyard (my new happy place!).
We had such a good time! It was the first time we hosted since all the renovations (sharing soon!) started so it was fun to show them the progress and the new backyard. Keeping it simple because it was my birthday and lots of effort shouldn’t happen one’s birthday; we had pulled pork, grilled chicken, grilled corn on the cob, a watermelon, grapefruit and feta salad, a mesclun, red apple and fresh mozzarella salad and of course, a delicious oh so chocolate chocolate cake!
Positive, happy vibes were shared. It was an excellent way to kick off my next year, thankful, happy and loved. :) Here are some pics from the backyard birthday party!
And the birthday cake!
Thanks Sara, Sanford, Avy, JD, Kass, Terita, Silvia and Shana for celebrating with us. Thanks to Avy and JD for capturing the day! And of course, lots of love and thanks to Marcus, the other half of HockPie for making this birthday the best one yet!
